A Super Simple Makeup Tip: Lipstick Used As Blush

It’s your favorite time of the week! πŸ˜‰ OK, maybe not, but I really like writing the Beauty Tip of the Week posts because it means it’s a Thursday – and the weekend is just one day away!

This week’s tip is super simple. If you’ve run out of blush (shocker! horror!), walk, don’t run to your closest pink or peach lipstick (dark colors like reds, purples and browns won’t work with this tip). All you need to do is rub a cotton ball over your lipstick, and pat some on the apple of your cheeks.

Next, use your middle and ring finger to blend the lipstick on your cheeks and follow your cheekbone up to a little before your earlobes. Keep it light handed and remember to blend. Voila, your very own cream blush.

Have you tried this makeup trick before? How did it work for you? Those who are acne-prone may want to skip this trick though, as the oils from the lipstick may cause breakouts.
