I’ve been asked many, many times about where to buy ColourPop in Singapore, especially recently, and ladies… I hear ya!
I’ve been eyeing this brand for almost a year now and desperate to get a hold of it as well. As a makeup artist in Singapore, I’m always looking for quality products to add to my kit. And Colourpop has been said to be of excellent quality and highly pigmented. I know a lot of pros are using them too!
ColourPop is an affordable, cruelty-free, indie, “fast-fashion” beauty brand that is exclusively sold only on their main website.
I’ve spoke to their respresentives a few times and for now, unfortunately, their website only to the US, Canada, Australia and Puerto Rico.
So where can you get Colourpop in Singapore? Due to my extensive knowledge of online shopping (more like obsession – did I ever tell you one of my first “starts” in my Internet career was on eBay?!) I have found some ways…
It’s Available on Amazon.com. Little known secret – Colourpop has an online store on Amazon.com, where you can get all their products (!!!) And they ship to Singapore – not only that, it’s super fast, it’s most definitely reliable and the products authentic (there are still quite a few risks to buying Colourpop in the different ways I mention below). Happy shopping!
Try Carousell. There are tons of people on the Carousell app buying ColourPop in bulk, whether from a friend in the US or through their travels. Make sure to find a seller who is reputable, though, and be sure to check out reviews from previous buyers. Also, keep in mind that they may hike up the price – their products are within the US$5-20 range – so cross check different sellers for the best deals.
Ask your overseas friends. If you have friends in the US or anywhere else ColourPop ships to, you can always ask a friend for help. You can easily pay them back. However, it is very, very important that you have a friend you trust, though. I once made that mistake (many years ago), when I had a lot of US based PR firms wanting to send me products. I asked my high school friend, whom I was really close to, if I could use her US address and then she send them over for me, and I’ll pay her back. You guessed it, she received the products, I never heard from her again (toxic friend?) and my relationship/reputation with that PR firm suffered – never again.
Try V-Post or other post forwarding services. Services such as V-Post, Borderlinx, Comgateway or Hopshopgo all “lend” you a US based address and then forwards your package to your Singapore address. And while I think this is a great idea and have heard many happy customers (shoppers!) of it, I’ve also heard some horror stories. So use these services at your own risk and do plenty of research.
When will ColourPop ship to Singapore? Soon, I hope! Singapore has such a buzzing beauty scene with plenty of new brands, so I’m hoping it’s only a matter of time before ColourPop will ship to our side of the world. In the meantime, the above are some of my ideas and ways to get ColourPop in Singapore. Personally, I think the safest bet is Amazon.com.
P.S. Check out this other really cool, affordable indie makeup brand you gotta know about.
