There is a rumor that this serum is the all-time favorite serum of British beauty editors. (And I’m talking about the beauty editors that have been in the beauty game for 20+ years.)
Because no matter whatever new innovations come out each year in the beauty world, it’s still their fave. It’s the #1 repair serum on the market, and has been since its launch in 1982…
It’s Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair. And after a solid 6 month use, I can finally add my thoughts to this cult classic serum.
Why is it #1 selling?
The selling point of the Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex II (that’s its full name) is simple: it fights all the key signs of aging.
It’s said to help with dryness, dehydration, lines, wrinkles, dullness; and is suitable for all skin types (by the way – do you really know your skin type?) and enthicities, and claim to be the #1 repair serum. Test studies show that most women felt their skin to look healthier, fresher and more radiant after a month of use.
I can safely agree with what those women were saying. While I cannot comment on the fine lines and wrinkles – I am lucky to not have any yet; although I believe prevention is better than cure, hence why I’m starting now! – I do feel my skin to have a fresher look, and it really does look clearer, healthier, and again, fresh. I’m already about to buy my 2nd bottle.
The formula is super light and dries nicely into skin, with no greasy residue afterward, which I think is every Singaporean woman’s concern with skincare products. The Advanced Night Repair is also perfectly fine with my sensitive skin too; I had no reactions at all, be it itching, burning, breakouts, peeling. Nothing. In fact, my skin loves it, and I think I may be applying too much serum. It’s as if my skin “drinks” it – great for the skin, not great for my wallet.
